The Latin American Water Funds Partnership participates in different events at the local, regional or global level with the objective of positioning the Water Funds work and their contributions to water security, in order to help create a more favorable environment to facilitate new investments or financial instruments to strengthen and create Water Funds; add new partners interested to collaborate with one or several Water Funds across the region; facilitate the dialogue with decision makers in the water sector at the regional level to promote better water governance; and promote spaces for learning and exchange experiences among the different Water Funds. By doing this, we help Water Funds to gain greater relevance at the national and regional level, so they can achieve their water security objectives.
